This is my 36 Hour Prime Rib from last year. It’s one of the best things I have made and I wanted to share this again as it’s a fool proof way to cook a prime rib for the holidays. It starts off with a beautiful rib roast. The one I used here was a choice grade roast from Costco weighing around 5 lbs. The first thing I did was trim off the fat cap. That layer had some silverskin which is not the most pleasant to eat, and removing it let me season the meat from all sides. I seasoned it heavily wi
