Modern medical science has come to accept what the Daoists knew some thousands of years ago. In imitating nature the Daosits knew that the movement of blood, through the body, flows in a spiral. Spiralling is prominent in all of nature, as well as in the movement of the human body. “The presence of a spiral arterial blood flow pattern in humans has been widely accepted” (National Library of Medicine). Throughout practice the spiral is in continuous play, from the more grosser external movements
