In search and rescue missions, every minute counts. On this day last year, our Bundaberg-based crew were tasked to a search and rescue (SAR). A group of men were out fishing off K'gari when a rogue wave overturned their vessel. Luckily, the men were able to set off their emergency position indicating radio beacon (EPIRB), while they waited for help to arrive.
