Dash Cam Captures Avalanche in Elk Mountains Covering Parked Cars Along Busy Road Dash cam footage recorded a dramatic avalanche in Colorado’s Elk Mountains as snow and debris broke loose from a steep slope and swept onto a busy mountain roadway. The video shows multiple vehicles parked along the side of the road when the avalanche suddenly begins, sending a wall of snow cascading downhill toward the cars. Within seconds, the slide engulfs several parked vehicles, partially burying them as drive
